It's been a long time coming but eventually a lift to our upstairs hall (built in 1874)has been installed. This will be of great help to members of the congregation with mobility problems who will now be able to join more fully in the social activities of the church. The finance for this project came from Church fund raising efforts and a generous donation from the Lloyds/TSB Foundation of Jersey.

In the "Opening Ceremony", the ribbon was cut by our minister, Rev Randolph Scott.
The first intrepid users of the lift were Mrs Jean Wilson and Mrs Rozel Baker. Randolph acted as the "Lift Boy". Off they go!! Will it work???
Yes it will!!! They have arrived!!!

Out they come for a well earned cup of tea, helped by the "Doorman", George Sinclair.

John Hargreaves, assisted by Gregor Menzies, arrived shortly after.
This lift will be a great addition to our Church facilities.
